Little Registry Cleaner is an application developed by Little Apps. The application is designed to clean the registry from unused data. If you have installed and used many applications in your computer, you may have noticed that some of them do not uninstall themselves properly. This can cause several problems in the registry, which makes the computer run slower and less efficiently. You can select it to scan different types of files on your computer, such as DLLs, program info, help files, etc., to check if there is residue from unsuccessful installations.
The program however, does not run very smoothly – it crashed a few times, and some of the files selected had to be unchecked in order to allow the scan to actually finish its job and show some results.
It allows you to back up anything you will be cleaning, just in case you might need it in the future. The program is free, so it is worth giving it a try. However, there might be other programs in the Internet with a better stability. If you do make it to the end of a scan, then the program will do its cleaning job without any further issues.

What you need to understand is that "there is no registry standard".
This means that different registry programs will give you different results (fixing, repairing, removing, pretending to remove but not doing it, etc). Welcome to microsoft's tower of babel.
